Fuel gauge

My 900 SE's fuel gauge runs from 'F' to 'R'. 'R' for "Reserve'? Is this why my trip computer showed only 15 kms. left available and the fuel gauge needle was down in the red then the needle moved up out of the red and the computer showed 75 kms. left??

Thanks in advance, Steve = : ^ )

Or "R" for Refuel.

probably fuel level changing in the tank due to level changes (nose down) in the car.

I'm not sure what the "R" means, but "E" means "extra gallon still "left".

Bob (Who chuckled when the DTE showed 12 miles left... it was only

3 miles to my house :-)
