Is there a Clarion or other brand of CD player that can be used to replace the existing radio/cassette deck without having to rewire or modify the connections? Thanks for any input

Blaupunkt is really good and looks close to the original.
Make sure you get this with the face plate, and where the amplifier or EQ goes below, the 5 disc holder would go. Make sure the finish is matte, and not polished so that it coincides with the interior.

If you are in the USA, talk to crutchfield. THey have adaptors to make the wiring jobs easy.
