Ventilation fan - 92' 9000CS - doesn't work

Hi, Two days ago I bought 92' 9000 CS 2.3T. Everything works fine except for ventilation fan. I have checked fan itself and it works, however, with ignition ON buttons on the climate control unit do not make fan work. Do you have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks for any help.

How, exactly, did you check the fan? If you put 12V on the input wires and it spins, it could be that the output transistor is blown or that the control unit is bad. My bets are on the transistor.

If this is blown, there is probably a cause other than old age. If the motor armature is worn, or its bearings, it will draw excessive current and kill this transistor. If there is insulation or water on the fan basket, it can also be a cause. If it is the original fan motor, it probably needs replaced, anyway. If you go that far, replace the heater core as well if it has not been replaced. The web page above has a good writeup on how to get to it.

I have replaced a control module in the fan/AC assembly and everything works again. It turns out that control module was faulty. Thanks for your help.

The control module is the part with the output transistor. These do not normally fail without some other cause. Some causes are listed below. Make sure the drain is clear for sure 'cause this is easy.
