1964 Horn Button

According to the sellers ad, this circle S horn button was used on the Champ in 1964. Can anyone verify this?

What that seller has is a 1966 horn button/cap, which is all black. The

1964-65 horn buttons are painted gold inside the chromed 'spokes' surrounding the 'S'.

As for being correct on a Champ truck, the part # is 1692525. According to my 7E-8E Parts Cataolog which includes 1702 Change Notice No.1; January

1964, there is no mention of the 'circle-S' passenger car horn button being used.

Agree with Craig. While this button will fit on a Champ pickup, the correct button is all black like this one, but without the 'S'.
