well... I don't know anyone with a sewing machine big enough to sew the pleated bit to the smooth bit... and as for the seat, I think some of the springs might be busted/weak hence my concerns...

just thought of something...

I actually have two Roper Whitney punches... so I could make the holes for the clips... ther than use the "board" for the backing of the door panels, what about using thin aluminum sheet? Those would *never* warp... I could just glue some dense foam on before the vinyl, then drill some small holes for the stainless "teeth" to go through...
