Ebay Musings...

Twice now I have discovered there is a reason to avoid Ebay when the following criteria are met.....

A) New keyboard B) Fuzzy monitor that has trouble clearly differentiating a comma from a period. C) Not enough sleep to be alert enough to realize you can't see straight. D) Your cheater reading glasses are out in the car E) You bid on an item to put it in your watch list, knowing your bid is nowhere near the reserve. F) Reading that your seven thousand dollar bid was recorded as seven hundred thousand dollars (and, yes, the reserve had been met ) G) Ebay sure hides the 'retract bid' page pretty well so one can fix their error.

(Fortunately, you can retract a bid for a bidding error as long as you immediately re-bid...which I did)

Yep, been there. Accidentally bid $43,000.00 on a very nice $4,300.00 Champ a few years back. It does get the adrenalin up when you discover the error.

Been there - done that, Jeff. I didn't want to set a record price for a brand new diecast Stude, and quickly got the problem rectified. (Whew!)
