New bellhousing and starter

For those going to Omaha, stop by my booth (Fairborn Studebaker) and see an all new bellhousing and high torque starter for the Stude V8. The bellhousing will accept a TKO 500 and can be used with mechanical linkage or a hydraulic throwout bearing. The starter will work with the new bellhousing or the standard Stude bellhousing. Price and availability details would be nice. Information has been hard to find about this BH and starter.

Price of the tranny will wreck $3,000. Not an option that I would want to consider...

Well JT you are frugal!

One doesn't HAVE to bolt up an expensive trans. It can be any old GM pattern three or four speed.

Last I heard it was gonna be in the $450 range.

I'm thinking seriously...

Yep, and I have a 4 spd Muncie I saved out of a 65 Commander Chevybaker. What it was in originally I have no idea. I bought that Commander in 1976 or 77.

Yes, prices please!!

Is this the bellhousing that Jerry Ikard has been developing? If not who has developed it? I've been waiting to buy one of these instead of a factory Stude so I can get an engine installed, so please supply info!!

Thanks, Rob
