Today I received 2 fake e-mails-1st verifies my payment to 'laptops 4 u'-[paypal] 2nd,a question from 'ebay member' about my laptop for sale- I've never owned a laptop,never sold a laptop.[I'm currently not active at all on ebay] My acct was hijacked a few months ago when I had 6 items for sale-. The' question from ebay member' cought me off-guard-I quickly responded to the question,typing in my password- Bingo-they got my password. Item # turns out to be non-valid item,-not close to item # of any of my items. So,after 7 years of being a e-bay member-I fell for it ,hook,line,and sinker. Caviet Emptor-but how do you say "SELLER BEWARE" ??? in greek?

And if they phish long enough,they will get you by using a name which just happens to be some one you know. Got an e-mail from Brandy- ***** a few weeks ago-why the heck is she emailing me??[I know her dad real well] -oh KEERist ,its a phish.
I got the same one in my e-mail box. I never answer e-bay messages from my e-mail box, I just delete them and go to 'My eBay' to answer them. When the message isn't on your 'My Messages' page you know it was bogus.
