We've been discussing cam and lifter failure in older engine using modern oils. I know many of us have switched to diesel rated oils, but lot of of good info here too.

Looks like the price of keeping our cars running has just gone up again.

latest bite in the ass is the new diesel requirements, we are adding Power Service's line of chemicals to our inventory, I suggest using anything but automobile grade oils in your classic vehicle. I recommend fleet grade diesel oil or air cooled motorcycle oils.
