First, that is the wagon, which is a little (60lbs?) heavier than the sedan. Also, other tests have shown better numbers than that(and better torque figures than Subaru lists). And I dunno which 'older WRX' you're refering to - but was it modded or bone stock.
(IIRC) I've seen some numbers like 0-60 6.1 seconds and 14.1s 1/4mile. Also, there's a report of 150mph with 2 people on board for a top speed.
