I have a 1996 Subaru Legacy AWD with a standard transmission. Recently the clutch burned out and I had it replaced. The problem now is that when you start the car it feels like the emergency brake is on, but it is not. You can force it to get it going but is feels like something is grinding. Once you get it moving there are no more problems until you shut it off and start it again. This doesn't happen every time but at least 50% of the time. I have it at my mechanics shop right now, but he is not a Subaru dealer and is not sure what is causing the problem. Thanks for any help in advance.
