I installed the "Security Upgrade Kit" in my 2003 Forester, and all seems well, with one exception...
One of the items of the kit is a siren, mounted under the hood. When I arm the system, and open a door with the key, the horn honks like crazy, lights flash, but no siren.
I always disarm the system immediately, so maybe the siren doesn't cut in for a few seconds? Or maybe it doesn't work at all???
How is the siren supposed to fit in with the security system?
