Liberty 2004 2.5x removing Stereo

Does anybody have any instructions on how to remove the stereo on a Subaru Liberty 2004 2.5x model? I've searched the net and can't find anything. All help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

the LOCALLY owned car stereo shop is the place to take it.

This "I'm Right" guy is FOS. A car stereo shop will gladly charge you $50 or more to do it for you and will probably damage your interior in the process.

When I removed the stereo from my Outback I asked the friendly service reps at my LOCALLY owned Suby dealer. They gladly explained the process over the phone in five minutes at no charge.

Meant to say Forester. Sorry about that. My other car was the liberty. Easy to remove stereo from that.

The new Forester My parents have is very hard to work out how to remove the stereo. Want to replace and check to see what brand of stereo is in it and if it will have a port on the back to accept cd stacker without the need to replace the head unit. They are usually Clarion oem units in the Subarus, since the 6 disc stacker unit is available as an additional extra is a Clarion unit. Just wanted to make double sure as I can get 3rd part units alot cheaper than what Subaru charge..
