Subaru Australia offer Paint Protection & Interior Protection. Are these of any worth or is it just a gimmick?

No,
It's a gimmick to boost the price of the sale. If you know of a good auto detailing place you can go there. If you have any other questions please contact me at snipped-for-privacy@enter.net

What? The $500 wax job?
Fabric protection CAN be worth the money, and if you bundle it with the purchase, you can often get it without paying any extra for it...
NO !!!!!! Wax it yourself for about $10. Factory already has a protector on seats and if you wish more buy a can of Scotchguard for ~$10 and do it yourself. I will say yes if the dealer offers it free to get the car sold. All dealers do(if they really do it) is give it a wax and upholstery spray. eddie
