interior protection

Hi, getting a new Fabia vRS this week, the one with the light grey seat bolsters that look like they'll get really grubby really quickly! I've declined the dealer's kind offer of "supaguard" protection (£300!) and wondered if anyone knew of a cheaper alternative? Or shall I just use a fabric cleaner every now and then? TIA Darren

You can, or at least you used to be able to, buy Scotchguard which ought to protect against fluidy type stains. You could buy seat covers though I don't like them myself.

Scotchguard was withdrawn four years ago.

I purchased some Scotchguard recently, (to protect some shoes) I thought I remembered it being discontinued too - must have been lots of excess stock around ;)

The message from Lee contains these words:

3M stopped supplying it 'cos it was too persistent in the environment. And on stock shelves, it would appear!

Any valeter worth his name will be able to provide you with Supaguard, or similar, protection for a fraction of the cost.

thanks for the help guys, I'll check some local valet shops Daz
