I figure I'll let you in on a 'secret' for $19.95 you can get a 72 hour subscription to techinfo.subaru.com and download the entire service manual, tech bulletins, etc for your Subaru. This is the same service manual the dealers use. It's not a dumbed down, abbridged Chilton's guide. The only downside is the manual is broken out into sections, for my 2002 H6 there were 1011 files (~150mb). The files are all in pdf format and most are less then 500kb in size. I think 2 were 25mb. It's well worth the 1 hour it took to click on all the links.
