Hi All,
I'm looking for suggestions/reccomendations for a roof rack system that will hold two or more mtn bikes on top of my '02 Outback.
I would like to use something that would mate up with the factory luggage rack if possible.
I know that Subaru makes one but $300 seems a little steep for what amounts to two bars.
Are there any aftermarket alternatives by Thule, Yakima, or others that will do the same thing?

The Subaru towers that attach to the luggage rack work with Yakima round bars and bike carriers (e.g., Steelheads).

I am using a Thule Bigmouth - which is perfect for my mountain and road bikes.
I would also SERIOUSLY consider Sportsworks racks - as they can handle any strange frames. I just bought a Cannondale Raven and the frame is a bit of a problem on the Bigmouth . They are also cheaper than Thule! Had I found this before I bought the Thule, I would have bought it!
