Chevy Tracker power window problem

Hello everyone. I am having a problem with the drivers side power window on a 2003 Chevy Tracker 2-door conv. When raising the window, it gets stuck about half way up, and the glass itself tilts forward. If I grab it and pull it back toward the back window frame it then continues on just fine. There is no problem lowering the window, only raising it. I am not a tech, but someone told me it's probably something called the "regulator." What it *very* odd, is that if it is wet, such as when it is raining, the window goes up perfectly fine. Any ideas? Thanks very much.

it's either the regulator, or their is a clip along the side of the window track (yours may or may not have one) that helps hold the window from tilting.

If it works when wet you may be able to oil/grease the regulator/track to fix it.

also, a clip or something is probably broken since the window does tilt. It shouldn't do that at all. It should only go up and down.

Try spraying some silicone spray lube on the window tracks in the door. (on both the rubber and the felty stuff) If that doesnt work it's time to tear the panel off and poke around.. HTH BHen
