read the odometer from the obd2

Does anyone know how to get the reading of the odometer from the obd2?



I am new to the automotive stuffs... but I have to write a program to get the information of a car from the obd2. I read the spec for the obd2, but I couldn't find the PID for the odometer reading...

There are a number of sites that sell controllers to do that but they are expensive. Do a google search.
