1995 Geo Prizm/Toyota Corolla

1.8L engine

Anyone know where I can find a inexpensive lower right front control arm and balljoint? Dang ice finally got me into a ditch.

Thanks, I also forgot to mention that I was from Wichita KS.

They should be there. There are two brands, Moog and some other. The Moog will be about $25-30, the other will be about $18. If you don't want to do it again in a year or two, get the Moog...

I found them both at a local junk yard for $50...anyone have an idea how much they would cost to put on in the midwest? I'm sure that prices could vary greatly, but it would be nice to have an idea.

Just a wild guess, figure 2.5 hours labor at the prevailing labor rate, plus the cost a four wheel alignment.

Thanks Ray, I don't know how much the alignment shop will want for that just yet, but I have a shop that does labor for a flat rate of $40 an hour if the alignment shop is too expensive.

Damn! It would almost be worth driving there for $40 an hour!

Yeah, they are really great. I was hesitant to use them at first because of the price being so low but so far they haven't let me down. As it was, the alignment shop told me it would run roughly $175 total for my parts and labor so I went ahead and let them do it. It wasn't really worth it for me to try to get my car from one shop to the other.
