Hello all, I am perhaps a dimwit, but anyhow. I hooked my battery up wrong, positive to negative and vise versa. Now my car will start fine, but it will not go into gear, the radio does not come on, lights do not come on, odometer does not come on. Nothing comes on, but starts fine. It is 98 Toyota Camry 4cyl. Any suggestions would be helpful, and also how much do you think it cost to fix problem. THank YOu Pete

I would start by inspecting the fuses. The information will be in your owner's manual.
Check the 100 amp main fuse and fusible link. Check your owner's manual for locations.

Thank You Both so much, I did check the 100Amp fuse, and it was blown. Went to autostore and bought one for 3 dollars and problem is solved. Thanks again
