As always, you have not done your research. Toyota has been improving their quality ratings all the time. The 2004 rating has shown an improvement over 2003. This trend has been happening for the past 30 years. Just because others have surpassed them, it doesn't mean they've been worse. The numbers have always improved, as a matter of fact. Please do your research before you reply.
Your are free to believe what ever you wish. The fact is we are seeing more problems with Toyotas in our fleets than ever before. As to improving rating you are correct every manufacture is indeed improving vis v each other, including Toyota.. The only real difference among manufactures today is style and price, from what we see i our business.

Again, not to get into this whole "Japanese made vs American made", but I don't know how I would have enjoyed the experience if my Subaru had been American made. My Japanese made one was just so great. I'm fairly certain that one day I'll get another Subaru because of how I felt about the last one, and can only hope that I'll be just as happy the next time around, but you really never know.

About 80% of corporate and government fleets vehicles are products of Ford Motor company and around 60% of that 80% are trucks. Corporate fleets use just about any brand car or truck you can name. Courier companies like smaller cars, for instance. Not all the VIPs want to ride in a Grand Marquis limo or Lincoln Town Car limo, when they can ride in an MB or a HUMMER limo at the expense of the shareholders. ;)

Actually, I've been here for a while even though I don't post as much as others. I just don't understand why some people even try to discuss anything with him. IMO, it's not worth it.
