This is I hope on topic, even if I do contribute to the OT stuff.
I periodically run a 5-800 mile mileage check on the Highlander (AWD V-6) it has just about 45000 miles. It is still getting nearly exactly 18 MPG in my "mix".

You got pretty good gas mileage. My '05 Ltd (FWD) only has 10k miles so far. The gas mileage is about the same as yours - 18 MPG. '05 V6 engine is supposed to be more efficient but with hesitation.
