Indentured slavery

My dad had dentures. Does that count?

He made me mow the lawn when I was ten years old. And once I had to clean my room instead of going out and playing football. I call THAT slavery.

But I am. White is a color, isn't it? If I wasn't a "person of color" then I'd be clear and you'd be able to see right through me (shut up, Philip).

Wow. You're a direct descendant of somebody who voluntarily entered into a contract to sell himself as property to somebody else. That's amazing!

Yeah? Slavery was banned in all British colonies in 1838. You must be one oooooold dude!

One of George Orwell's characters defined a lunatic as a minority of one. Therefore, I qualify as a minority. I am now going to apply for my federal entitlements and buy a Hummer H1 with the proceeds. Why didn't I think of this before?

He's a t.r.o.l.l, Huw. Have fun with him.

Notice he claims his grandaddy was a slave under British colonialism. Since slavery was banned in the British colonies in 1838, well, you do the math.

No, that would be because people are dumping gas-hogs and buying rice-burners

Damn it all - If I would have known they were slaves, I'd have dickered harder.

Most sales people do not get a salary, they get a 'draw' of a certain amout. If their sales earn more, they get more. By the end of the month they must earn at least their draw or they are gone.

Most sales in the UK either sell new or fairly new used. Older used cars are sold by separate sales operations. Now at $30US for new and $100 for used sales, and only that income, most sales people in my area would starve and not be able to afford their own smart clothes. The volume is just not there. Not even in large towns in my area. A more realistic income template would be a starting salary of about US$12000 with maybe 4% of profit or 2% of net invoice paid by the customer on top.

What in GOD'S NAME are you blithering about? Do you even have a clue yourself?

I am an employee at a Toyota Dealership. In all honesty, I see absolutely NO difference from this or ANY dealership I have worked for or friends have worked for.

Are you that idiot that has a lawsuit against a Toyota dealership in East Cupcake? Please, keep it to yourself. Your dissertation here says NOTHING and just leads people to believe you are a blithering idiot and a cry-baby whiner.

For God's sake, give up and get a diiferent job! Sheesh!

Dan:

this guy is an idiot that posts this same or very similar post every time he gets hit on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper by his boss, probably for being a foul-up. He was posting about once a month or so, then faded away until today.

Either that or he timed out on my PLONK file...

Maybe he IS a lawyer and is TRYING to open a class-action suit, in which case, HE'LL get about $10M and us lowly employees at Toy dealerships will get....

$8 each...

Hmmmmm...which dealership? Our guys are complaining about making $100 per new and $250 for used!

When you consider the OLD owner used to pay 20% of GROSS!!! (EX: 2005 Celica, 20,995=$4,000!!!)

About $380/wk where I am.

But but but ... he IS a "blithering idiot and a cry-baby whiner." When such a cluck is bent spiraling down in flames, don't try to save him from himself.

Hahhaha. What a 'job.' Little wonder the annualized turnover rate is 400% in so many dealerships, irrespective of brand.

So how have you been enchained in slavery?

Get another job!

Quit whining!!!

Or do you want your 40 acres and a mule?

Quit bitching, get another job, and stop posting your friggin drivel here!

The shark lawyers want nothing to do with class litigation against Japanese corporations. The litigation must be brought in Japan, not the US. Individual dealerships do not have deep enough pocks for class litigation
