Dayum! Nice. Wish the 20V were available here natively. I looked into snapping one in, but it's not a bolt-in; there is a lot of effort (read:$$$$$) involved in doing this; new sensors, new loom, different mounts, re-routing header, etc. Google:images:Brian Urbano to see an '87 with this mod!!!

I gotta full plate. The LHS and the Celica are daily drivers, the Celica gets traded off for the Tercel or the V'ger for winter, the Supra is in really nice shape, driven 2x by me before going into a heated garage for the winter, and the 'hachiroku' has been a friend of mine for 19 years, getting rusty waiting for a restorethat started 2 years ago. Oh, yeah, I sold a '95 Tercel AT w 130,000 for the Supra, the Terc was getting 45MPG! Shoulda kept it!!!

LOL! Yeah, I got the notice! But, since, when driving an Automatic, I ALWAYS!!! put my foot on the brake before shifting, I'm not too worried about it!!

The only one i thought was scary (and was performed before I got the car) was the one Art told me about: the sub-frame mounting bolts working loose and dropping the motor and suspension off the car! I can see that at 70MPH on the freeway!

WOW! That's an OLD recall! Call your dealer. One good thing about Chrysler (and the same for Toyota, but not Honda) is that any work done by a dealer is entered into a computer and can be accessed by ANY Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge dealer! So, if the work was performed in Cucamonga, and you're in Kankakee (a nod to Charles!) the dealer can look it up! A dealer in the town where I work was able to tell me when the car was bought (1,200 miles away), where it was bought, and that it had oil changes every 3,500 for the first 90,000 miles!! Just call the dealer and give him (her? Service Dep't) the VIN and they can tell you. I know it applies to '94, maybe '95; after that I think they corrected it.

I have a sunroof, I wish I had a hardtop. Not a fan of the T bar, those things always end up leaking, plus the chasis is not as stiff. Where are you located?
