Out here in Chicago we have all sorts of stations between 88.1 and 91.9:
Christian Jazz Even a few who broadcast something called NPR.
My favorite stations are on the AM dial and come in by skip. I listened to AM740.ca tonight on the car radio.

Uh...my research fails to find anyone in the entertainment industry that supported the war in 2003. Can you please enlighten me?
You seem to be the idiot, because you obviously didn't comprehend my point.
Really? Since their country fan base has abandoned them, SOMEBODY had to step in and buy their albums. I work with just such a loony who only owns ONE country CD--the latest from the DC's. She expressly said that's the reason she bought it.
Just like left-wing filth will campaign for the so-called 'fairness doctrine' to shut down people like Limbaugh and Glenn Beck.
Quite the opposite---I'm the one that realizes the blatantly obvious facts.
It seems there's a reason you call yourself Dizzy.
Really? You could not find any entertainers, not even *country* entertainers, who were pro-war?? I find that hard to believe. Dbu, is that you?
I am shocked that quality music isn't appreciated in the hick parts of Florida.
A monkey-faced, pointy-eared idiot who became our most incompetent President ever.
Is like moose and squirel, Natasha.
Because no political opinions matter more than those of our favorite celebrities, here are some celebrities who favored the Iraq invasion in 2003:
Ted Nugent (conservative) Vince Vaughn (unknown) Kid Rock (conservative/libertarian) James Earl Jones (unknown) Buddy Ebsen (conservative) Robert Duvall (conservative) Drew Carrey (libertarian, war status not 100% certain) James Woods (centrist) Kelsey Grammar (conservative) Ron Silver (liberal) Ricky Schroder (conservative) Jason Priestley (conservative) Shannon Doherty (conservative) Dennis Franz (unknown) Pat Sajak (conservative) Bo Derek (conservative) Dennis Miller (conservative libertarian)
Apparently Clint Eastwood (conservative/libertarian) was not among them.
Only if you are an imbecilic, NAIVE LIEbrawl DEMONrat.
I suspect you're not only just mad because they spoke the
Appearently Petey's "research" was lacking.
lm'nc, you were too benevolent. He wanted someone to do his homework for him.
I just wanted to help Pete because everybody knows that he has to type slowly due to his left hand always being "occupied". ;)
Yeah, she called him a F@ckhead. On National TV. Shows a total lack of respect, self restraint, lack of couth, etc etc.
I take nothing she says as anything. Same with 'Babs'. Shut up and sing, and leave the socio-political comments to people that know what they're talking about before you make an @ss of yourself before the world.
Thank God they've remained mostly silent since then. Her handlers must have placed a muzzle on her trap...
Oh, yes she did. I saw a clip of it on NBC about 6 months ago. All they bleeped out was the 'uh', so you heard f_ckhead.
Make sure you know your sources, Diz.
OK...THIS one made me laugh! m,l&c gets 10 points for the day!
Jeez.. you call these people celebrities? Vince Vaughn and Kid Rock are the only A-listers among them.
Compare this with a list of those opposed... you'll bog down Usenet if you post them all!
99% of entertainers do NOT have sufficient knowledge of politics to open their yap publicly about such things. Ditto for the NAIVE (llook it up in the dictionary: it describes most infantile, adolescent thinking lefty types)
LIEbrawls in this ng.
That's pretty funny coming from a drug-addled Kanadian who, in 3 months, has not posted one constructive thing to this newsgroup.
Does that excite you?
