Hubby's biggest gaffe is not checking water levels. He leaves it wherever it is before he starts. And he drives me *nuts* with drying, cuz he won't put the damned dryer sheets in, so you end up with a lot of static!

I would bet this is a plot.....I've been known to pull that kind of thing.....
Nah, he's up front about what he doesn't want to do, which is why I'm the only one who cleans the bathrooms.

exactamundo! The best ...and only ...way for husbands to get out of doing something they don't want to do is to do it so badly they won't be asked again. Period.
You need to be smart and consistent in the implementation, though...
you got that right, Scott. It has to LOOK like you're trying your best, and just don't get the hang of it. Obvious attempts at failure don't do the trick.
