Let's see...witfall is a citizen, and you are barely a legal resident, and you're suggesting there's a glimmer of hope for HIM??? That's absurd.

Considering your ilk, and the pseudo-conservative you are, I'll not take that as a compliment.

I can tell you who isn't, and purports to be.
Others may or may not reveal that in their posts.

It's fun to confuse the simple-minded with easy labels, though. As of a few hours ago, Hach is surprised to find that I own guns. Based on who-knows-what, he thought I was X, but now I'm Y or Z. His labels have failed him.

On that subject, I've always been amazed at someone who is an adherent to the Second Amendment belonging to the Democratic party.
It's like a feminist belonging to Operation Rescue.

It doesn't matter. There is no political party that can contain my amazing mix of viewpoints. I tend to follow specific issues, like guns, environment, and constitutional wisdom (hence my fixation on Cuomo).
Some of the candidates defy party lines, too. Example: Because George Pataki ran against Mario Cuomo for governor, there was obviously no good reason to vote for him. He was also endorsed by ultimate toilet filth used scumbag in a gutter Alphonse D'Amato, who smelled bad even on television. But, two years into Pataki's term, it became clear that unlike most NY Republicans, he would do absolutely anything to protect the Adirondack Park
Even Democrats don't think that way, unfortunately. That puts me in a category with Stalin. Good. I like that.

Or what about Republicans who think gun ownership should be severely restricted, like my uncle with the machine gun license and walk-in gun vault?

I can understand that to a degree. But I could never register with a party that abrogates personal freedom the way I see the Democratic party doing, particularly over the past twenty-five years or so.
From the rest of your post, it's obvious you like the non-conformists. Good show. The best politicians come from that background. I got a call yesterday from the RNC asking for another contribution. I laughed and told him that I'm nearly done with the party. He asked why. I responded with, "Our President has completely ignored the will of the people, particularly in the southwest, when it comes to meaningful border control and immigration policy. If he wants security for the nation, he's missing the boat here, and has lost an opportunity to provide real security against terrorism. For the first time in my life, I'm considering re-registering as a Libertarian, thanks to George Bush." The guy responded with an expected platitude, "Well, I can understand that." I said, "Good. Have a good evening, sir." I then hung-up the phone.
You want to be categorized with the biggest mass-murderer in history? What's up with that?

What's wrong with that? If you can get a federal license, as can be had in Arizona and some other states, I see no reason to be restricted from owning a full-auto weapon.

How terrible. Imagine someone not wanting to kill unborn babies.
The horror.
I hope that wasn't the only reason he went down in flames, but otherwise I understand what you're advocating. Good stuff.
