They'll just raise the bar, Scott.
Their new chant will be to blame the U.S. for this import, and ignore history.

So, you're saying that our presence in Iraq has made it less likely this would happen? I think this is what you've said in the past, but I just want to be sure before we continue.

Why? All they will do is accuse us of being responsible... They will repeat word for word what this chump said below...
"The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood. "These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah says on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?"
The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English."

Actually, this threat is not coming from Iraq.. its coming from Pakistan. Re-read the story...
Essentially they are saying that our presence in Afghanistan is good enough to send homicide bombers all over the globe..

Thanks. I read the story. I was wondering if Splatt read it, since he has claimed a million times that our presence in the wrong country would prevent this from happening, or minimize the possibility. He has also avoided the question of why we first sent forces to Afghanistan, and then lost our focus. He has also made some sort of stupid claims as to why we are aligned with Pakistan, when that country has been largely uncooperative.

Your point ultimately would not matter anyway because there is no was we can go into Pakistan without their consent. If we did then there would be use of nuclear weaponry. Going unto Pakistan is not the same as going into Afghanistan. Essentially what many of these groups are doing is hiding in Pakistan... and that is if the radicals arent being suckered out into the open fields and mountain ranged in Afghanistan, and Iraq.

We have done our job well in Iraq and will continue to do our job well there, thanks to GWB and our fine military. We will take care of the others soon.

How many times does it need explained to you?
An Afrcians from Nigeria, A American from Dutch Harbor Alaska, and a Russian in Moscow are all people but are all from different cultures. You would not aproach them the same way.
That is honestly as simple as I can put it to you. Need it in preschool fashion?

You still have yet to explain it. One more chance, and I will have no choice but to conclude that you are one of the many who proceed on faith, which is the driving force of the mindless.
Explain, or be mindless. You don't put the names of countries into a hat and pick one to invade. The threat was, and still is in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

There is no running from the war on terror.
Of course, it's a bad plan to make fresh enemies, which is what Bush did when he invaded Iraq. How many of that 300 were radicalized by our invsion of Iraq? How many would have stayed home instead of fighting?
The Israelis, the Saudis and the CIA have all studied this and come to the conclusion that we've made more enemies, pulled more Muslims in off the sidelines, by invading Iraq.
This was the predictable result. You can go blame Dubya for raising the threat level.

The common theme is disenfranchisement. It affects people in our country. It was at the root of the problems in Northern Ireland. It is ***ONE*** of the issues at the heart of the dispute between Shias and Sunnis in many of the places where the two sects interact.
Are you one of those people who thinks there can be nobody on earth that has information you were not aware of?
Or, are you capable of learning something?

I thought you Musketeers said that we had to the fight terrorists over there so that we wouldn't have to fight them here. Well, we are fighting them over there, so why are they still coming here? More likely, al Qaeda is coming here because we _are_ fighting them over there -- and are providing them plenty of training and inspiration.
Remember, everybody, 9/11 cost al Qaeda only $500,000, so don't fool yourself into thinking that we can stop them by drying up their funding. And just when the US military is having problems finding enough recruits that it's lowered its standards (except for the Marines), al Qaeda now requires all new members to have a high school diploma and is having no shortage of volunteers.
