OT-No knock knock here

I looped the lyrics from "Some Kind of Wonderful" by Grand Funk. The part that goes "Can I getta witness? Can I getta witness?". Made it repeat about 5 minutes. I burned a CD of it.

I saw them coming. I ran to get the CD. I plopped it in my outdoor player and pushed play.

Well, waddaya know. It worked!!!

I'm gonna make a loop of the lyrics "just walk on by" and see if they do the opposite.

pmsl.

Ive yet to be 'beaten' by door to door religious types. I can always grind them down to either admitting that their religion is based on rubbish and just pointless blind faith, or they leave before that point. I am fine with people being religious, no qualms at all, so long as youre not shoving it in my face.

So long, thanks for all the fish.

Haven't has a Mormon show up yet. But if they do maybe I can find something appropriate in the song "Tunnel of Love" LOL

I had a friend many years ago who was sometimes a bit, shall we say, crude. :-)

I was over at his place having a beer or two, and some JWs came to the door. He went outside, found out who they were, then whipped it out and started pissing on the guy's leg.

Boy did they say some un-Christian things!

There was a row of bushes along the back property line but it stopped short of reaching the corner by about three feet. For the longest time people would take a short cut from the street behind us, through the gap in the bushes, and then walk the property line between us and our neighbor to our right, and onto our common gravel driveway to the street in front of the house. This went on for years. I even took the shortcut going the opposite way to go to school. My dad erected an above ground pool. The backyard was small so there wasn't many choices where to put it. Had he followed the rules today about staying at least 8 feet away from the property line, there wouldn't be a pool, that's how small the yard was. When he tried to put up a fence (required by law) around the parameter, the now blocked off pathway caused a commotion. People actually had a right to cut through!! He was told by the Town he couldn't block the path, it was a common right of way now. I don't remember exactly how it ended but I do remember him saying he wasn't going to be held liable for any accident. I don't blame any home owner for coming on strong right off the bat for protecting his or her property. mark_
