I thought you were talking about my wife and daughter on our rock climbing/camping trip this weekend. Not only did they have to get on their hands and knees to crawl in and out of their tents, they had to sleep on the ground without air conditioning. When it started pouring Sat night, the tent my wife and I were using, which has never leaked before, started leaking like a sieve because #3 son left it in the trunk of the Avalon in 90 degree heat for 2 weeks, melting all of the seam sealer.

I cut our climbing and rappelling session short because it started raining and I since about half of the people we took up the hill have not climbed before and I wasn't comfortable having them up on cliffs on slippery rock.

My wife and daughter didn't want to go climbing so they drove into town to go shopping. I figured this would be safe since the only sizeable stores in town were Wal-Mart, Gander Mountain, and Menard's Home center, and they wouldn't have any interest in the latter 2 stores.

My wife woke me up about 4 AM to say she was too hot and had to sleep in the car. I unzipped the tent to let her out, and she started it up to drive to the bathroom. When she got back, she started playing with the remote to turn off the headlights instead of letting the timer turn them off, and sets off the alarm.

At least the boys were self-sufficient on this trip ;-)

Nothing personal, Ray, but your wife and daughter sound like they are VERY high maintenance.
