Let's hope he is truly a conservative and not just less liberal than the socialist woman. If so the French people may have finally had enough of the high taxes and rampant unemployment. He would do well to emulate George W. Bush's tax cuts to give their economy the jump start it needs. Those tax cuts have proven to be nothing less than a kick in the pants for our economy.

Is the current president of France, Jacques Chirac, conservative or liberal? Hint: He's always opposed the US invading Iraq.
He opposed the Iraq war because he had too much money invested in that country. As you know, politics is always determined by how much money or how many votes are at stake.
