(OT:) Speaking of Pardons...

Boy that's one hell of an argument. PeeWee Herman would be impressed.

C'mon, Tom, ya can't castrate one guy for perjury and let another one skate.

And this has nothing to do with Bush, it has to do with Libby falling on his sword...

Now we want to give Hilly-Billy ANOTHER run at the White House? NO THANKS!!!

Scott, you're famous for posting a lot of BS here, but you go to far when you tell an outright lie like that.

If she hadn't been a spy, the CIA would not have demanded prosecution for the people who ruined her cover. Valerie Plame was a spy and had no diplomatic cover, meaning she was more secret than the typical agent who has a diplomatic passport. She pretended to work for a sleazy energy company that dealt in illegal arms, and that way the CIA could gather intelligence on the flows of weapons to terrorist groups and Iran (I don't know about Iraq). When her operation was exposed, the US lost a major channel into Iran.

So Mike, do you agee with Scott that Valerie Plame was never a spy?

Plame was NOT a spy....

Plame was never in deep cover....

Then lets not make perjury a crime. I could care less about Clinton. But how can one be so adamant about what Clinton did, and then turn around and be OK with Libby? It just shows that all this is about partisan politics. The Clinton perjury was a joke and a witch hunt, nothing more, but if you think anything less, then you should also be outraged about Bush's pardon of Libby who lied about a real crime that compromised national security, as opposed to lying about something that was never even a crime in the first place.

Of course everyone knows that Libby is taking the fall for Cheney, that's the real reason Bush pardoned him. Actually it was Cheney who pardoned him, since that is where Bush gets his marching orders.

OK fair enough. Clinton skates, Libby skates! Perfect.

Amongst others...

Do a search and you will discover what was posted is indeed factual. ;)

Once again you are wrong. Clinton was convicted of perjury, in the civil case in an Arkansas court. He was fined and disbarred, the only sitting President so convicted.

The man that actually released her name, Mr. Armatige of the State Department was never indicted by the grand jury because she was not a covert agent and thus not law broken

mike

A lie makes its way around the world five times before the truth gets its boots on in the morning. - unknown

There you go again using you own 'facts.' She had not be a covert operative in over two years and thus not covered under CIA rules. NOBODY was indicted by the grand jury for outing anyone. period. Her name was not released by anybody in the White House and the prosecuted new that long before Libby was ordered to testify, he simply was on a fishing expedition.

mike

why did you care so less about clinton and so much about Libby?

Where did I say I cared about Libby?

You keep whinning about how he got off from jail time and all the other rubbish. So where were you when clinton screwed the intern while on duty in the people's house? Where was your outrage?

Libby paid a quarter million dollar fine, no small penalty for his so called crime. The man has been much more benefit to the U.S. than not so why don't you cut your attacks and go feed the chickens or clean the barn, the cows need you.

I was very critical about him,. I was also very critical about the Republican witch hunt and waste of tax payer money. Did you know me 10 years ago?

Gosh, I guess you haven't heard about his multi-million dollar defense fund that was donated to him. He's making money on this.

So the law doesn't apply to all people, If in your opinion they are a good guy, ie Republican)? I never attacked Libby, I am attacking the, above the law, double standard d******ds running our country. Libby was just the fall guy for Cheney. Like I said, if you were so outraged by Clinton's perjury, even though he had committed no crime, but are OK when Libby perjures himself about the outing of a CIA operative, a crime that compromises the CIA and our national security, then you are a just a partisan hypocrite and your opinion is worth s*it.

Oh? You were very critical about clinton? But also critical about "the Republican witch hunt". Seems like a contradiction tom old boy.

He didn't use any outside money. He paid with his own money. Are you sure he's making money on it? Proof? Like bank records and tax returns? Perhaps you are just bloating again.

We all know you like to attack the Bush administration. He beat your prima-donna Gore and then whacked the master-de-bater kerry, LOL.

Let's face it tom, you and your buddies along with the vengeance party have to change your attitudes. A sorry bunch you are.

I'll bet Libby whishes that were true LOL

mike

Good thing nobody take their rating seriously. LOL

mike

Funny you think that way. In you're mind you can't see the wrong in both sides?

No he didn't

Probably. Maybe he's giving back what he's not spending, but he hasn't used a penny of his money for his defense, and won't use a penny of his for the fine.

Bush is an idiot and and a train wreck, Why wouldn't I attack him any chance I get? Doesn't have anything to do with Gore or Kerry. I fail to begin to understand your simpleton logic.

So you were against the Clinton perjury charges and think that was all political "vengeance" on the part of the Republicans? Come Dbu you can't have it both ways.

Perjury IS A CRIME.....

gawd you libs are out to lunch.....
