Just got a bid of 400.00 (parts & labor) to replace the starter on my 1999 corolla. Is this the going rate? Thanks k

A bit on the expensive side.
Part proby cost them $90, and $310 for labor? I don't think so.
The starter is not that hard to replace. U don't need to lift up the engine or recalibrate anything. Uses no special tools.
I am thinking $200+
