I have a 2003 Avalon. I have recently noticed a groaning noise when I turn the steering wheel full left or right while entering or exiting a parking place. Power steering fluid level is OK. Any ideas? Thanks!

It is normal for the steering to make noise at full lock, it is abnormal to hold the steering wheel at full lock especially when the groaning noise is apparent. Release the steering wheel a bit until the groaning stops, your turns will not be adversely affected.
Reminds me of the old Henny Youngman joke:
Patient: "Doctor it hurts when I do this." Doctor: "Then don't do that."
