We have a similar problem with our red '01 SIenna. I counted 4 in the high school parking lot one evening.

My wife was sitting in it at the high school on a different day, waiting for one of the kids, when the door opened and some stranger got in, thinking this car was his, driven over by his wife to pick him up!

If you want something that will stand out a bit, I recommend you check out the Lotus Elise.

We had a lot of 'pregnant roller skates' in Illinois. We used to call Corvairs 'VW's hit by a steamroller'. I ought to know. I took my first driver's test in an old Corvair 700. The back seat was not designed for people over 10 years old, and I had to cram in the back seat until we bought our first Toyota!

Re-tuned Celica GTS engine and tranny. Guess Lotus just couldn't get it right and had to buy Japanese...

And that was merely a mid-sized car in those days. When I was very young, my folks had a '71 Olds Delta 88 that dwarfed that Cutlass in size. You could probably fit a Toyota Echo on its hood. :-)

My uncle had a 68 Delta 88, we had a 63 Chevy II. We coulda fit our car in his back end, or we could have strapped it to his sloping rear roofline. We were amazed when we got our first Toyota. It took up less space in the garage than the Corvair it replaced, but it had more space inside.

Hell, that's an OLDIE. I think I remember hearing that on Rush when Slick Willie was Praisident. I used to listen to Rush because no one else in the media was saying anything left of center in those days. . . . That's been over a decade now.
