You listen to Howie yesterday or today?
Here's a little background: Have you heard about Tom Rielly running for Gov. here? Have you ever heard Howie talk about Rielly before?
Rielly is the state Atty Gen. It seems whenever a big case comes up involving somebody 'connected', an investigation will start, and then weeks or months later, Reilly will make a press statement that usually has the word, "Unfortunately.." in it. And it usually means for some cockamamie reason they were 'unable to prosecute' the alleged culprit. Every time this happens, Howie makes mention of it on his show, and has previously had a couple segments within the last year where there have been big cases that 'unfortunately' weren't prosecuted and Howie has featured them in a segmant or two.
So, were you listening? Were you listening closely? I missed it!
Rielly has recently been running an ad on TV where he is discussing the black candidate, Patrick, and another Democrat, Gabrielli and their 'promises'. Then the announcer says..."Unfortunately..."
I sent this to Howie in an e-mail yesterday, but was unable to listen to it very long. So today, listening to him on the Web, I hear him using it as a PROMO! I was just wondering, since he usually says..."An e-mail from John in Brattleboro..." but I missed it. I guess he must have used it, eh? :)
