2000 Camry tail light problem during night

Mar 08, 2008 4 Replies

Hi All,

My tail lights of both size won't ON during night, the break lights are OK, the front light will ON during the night.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Mike

Are the bulbs' filaments ok? Some look fine but are actually burnt out. Use a voltmeter to check for voltage at the socket. Then probably check the fuse (I don't have a schematic now so can't tell which bulbs are related). .

Are you sure you have the lights enabled? If you have auto headlights (my

2001 did) you may only have only the daytime running lights on. As I recall there was a switch postion where you could keep the headlights from coming on, but the daytime running lights would still come on.

Just a thought, Check the stalk switch postion.
