I have found some threads with instructions to eliminate the beeping sound upon locking and unlocking the doors but none of them seem to work with my vehicle. Is there a new procedure for the current generation of camry to eliminate the beep noises caused by the remote?

You should have gotten an alarm owner's manual. It should tell you how to set things like chirps, flashes, door locks, allowed remotes.
Don't know about the 09, but it should still be the same Fujitsu-Ten. Google for their fax back number and you should be able to get the entire installation and owner's manuals.
