I have had an interesting way to lose my cellphone. I am not sure if I can explain it very well but let me try.
I have a 99' Toyota Camry that I bought about 4 years back. There was an empty space right next to where cigarette lighter is (under the A/C controls). I believe there was a ash-tray there originally but that was removed. Anyways, this space was there ever since I had the car. And it used to be a nice small hiding place and I would keep my cellphone there at times. I did not realize until yesterday and there was an empty space inside this space to the right. And my cellphone slipped into this space. This is where lot of wires in this space are and they perhaps connect to various components. The cellphone is now lying there and I can't reach it. I know it is there because I can call the number and it rings.
Now, I am thinking it is not worth the cost to take it to a mechanic who would perhaps need to take the CD/cassete system out and perhaps something else to reach the phone. I rather would buy a new cellphone and forget all about this phone. My question is lying there could it possibly harm the electrical system in anyway that I need to take it to a shop ?
