O2 sensor 2004 Camry LE 4 cyl

An OBD II scan on my 2004 Camry with 11k miles came up with the following-

P2238 (Oxygen Sensor Pumping Current Circuit Low (for A/F Sensor) [Bank 1, Sensor 1])

Can I replace the sensor myself or do I have to take the car to a Toyota dealer.

What is the price of an O2 sensor? What would be the estimated dealer charge to replace it?

Thanks for your reply.

That's warranty, man. Take it to a dealer. They'll start by putting an AF sensor in it (which is significantly different than an 02 sensor, by the way) and going from there. Oh, and those AF sensors are in the mid $250s, plus labor. But, you shouldn't have to worry about any of that.

Mine went out twice on my '03 camry. First at seven months after purchase, then just about 14 months after purchase.

Warranty covers it, but I am fearful there is some other deeper problem here, dealer sez no. I'm just at 21 months now and waiting any day for the "old light" to come on again.
