2005 tacoma

It is said to be slightly bigger in all dimensions. A Toy dealer told me the 2.7 engine will get about 35 mpg. I'm hoping that the other drivetrains are equally efficient. I'm gonna be at the dealer the first day they're available to see if they are for real...

That certainly sounds suspect, considering the *smaller* current version doesn't get mileage nearly that good. I get 22-23 mpg from my 2.7 4 X 4. I can't imagine that making it bigger and heavier will improve gas mileage.
