88 4runner start problems

Have a 3.0l 6cyl 88 4runner sr5. wont turn over when key is turned. checked the neutral safety switch, battery, ecu, new starter! when i turn the key just hear a clicking sound from over by the ecu on passenger side kick panel. no turn over at all. dont know what to do? checked fuses under drivers kick panel all good. any help or things to check or recheck for?

It sounds as though either not enough battery voltage is actually reaching the starter, or you have a poor ground. Have you done a voltage drop test?

Why... yes! You *can* do a voltage drop test yourself! All you need is an inexpensive multimeter, and these instructions:
