Hello there, I have a 1985 Toy xtracab and i am finding lately that when i go to back up, it feels like something may be binding as i stall the truck sometimes and it just feels like im dragging something. It shifts wondefully in all forward gears.
Any idea what this might be? Im hoping its nothing too serious.

I would probably check the e-brake cables and linkages mabey even the brake proportioning valve located at the top of the rod from the axle to the frame
Thats a great idea! Thanx! I notice the ebrake isnt working like it used to, and sometimes the lights on, but it isnt holding as i can push the truck, but they adjust when you back up, dont they. I will pull the back wheels off and check the brakes, maybe something moved or something.
