Goober seemed to have same problem? Replaced alternator but charge light stays on and I don't think battery is charging. fuel guage and taillights don't work, but hazard lights do.

check you fuses on your drivers side kickpanel
first thing I checked, but they all look alright...fuel gauge doesn't seem to be included there. 86 Toyota 4runner. Hazzard and taillights work, but directionals don't.
tried the relays? or checked the wiring to see if the alterator fried any of the wires
