I am looking to buy a nice 1999 to 2002 4Runner with under 70000mi, and i would like to find out if there is any known issues i should be aware of. Is there one year better than others? Thank for the help

Well they do have one of the highest accident rates of any vehicle sold in the US. The rolover death rate for the older 4Runners is much higher than for a Ford Explorer. Wonder why the press never mentions that?
