Quick mildew smell when AC first turned on 03 Tundra

Hello,

Can somebody help? Is there an evaporator drain that could be clogged? Can you tell me where and how? ;^) Thanks.

Best regards,

RG

The evap core drain on that thing should be on the bottom of the p side firewall, if I am remembering correctly. It's worth a quick blast of compressed air or a swab to make sure the drain is clear. But, now it sounds like you already have a bit of a mildew buildup in the core. BG makes a product called Frigi-fresh that works very well and is easy to use, good at killing the smelly stuff in there. Do it now before it gets bad!

Thanks for the reply. One more question please. Is it a plug or something directly on the P side firewall or is it a hose that comes through the firewall?
