The cooler would not fit the doghouse You would need the offset cooler that is used with the later shroud.

You'll also need to add to the list: some different length head studs for the DP's (4 total), and the larger cooling fan that the doghouse shroud uses. Mark Detro Englewood, FL

...you'df have to change the oil cooler if you wanted to run the doghouse shroud. And you will have to change several studs if you want to run DP heads.

I'll assume the late '66 crank has the shouldered hub to accept the 12V flywheel.

Be sure to use the late-style pressure plate (without thrust ring) if your '71 tranny has the late throwout bearing (with guide sleeve).

Mark is right on here. You might also want to increase the oil cooler stud to 8mm and drill out the two other holes if needed. Then there is that long stud that holds the center portion of the dual port intake manifold. :-)
