74 Super Beetle - What's Stock?

I just bought a 74 Super Beetle and I'm looking for a good resource on what the stock version of my car would have come with. I'd like to start replacing parts but I'm not exactly sure which ones to look for first.

Thanks.

I was lucky enough to get a 74 Super used one year old back in late 74. I loved that Rallye Yellow Black interior. I drove the car for 10 years until I bought an 85 Golf 5 speed. I sold the car in 85 for exactly what I paid for it in 74. I was able to keep it in mint condition outside for that time........no rust etc. Eric 68 Bug cab Rallye yellow and 62 Ghia cab in primer. I even had the windup key on the back of it on the trunk lid. The PO demanded it when he bought it at the dealer for 3200 bucks new

Oh I was just wondering if there was a site with a list of stock parts typical to a 74. I'm not entirely sure how much was modified on mine. I'm going back and forth on whether or not I want to keep it stock or customize it so I'd like to know what is what.

You probably already know this, but that decklid is not stock for a '74. A '74 decklid would have four sets of slots, that one is from a '70 or '71 model.

This page lists year-by-year changes and may help you some:

Thanks for the tip Scott. I actually just learned that about 3 days ago. I'm heading to the junkyard this weekend to find the right lid. Thanks for the link.
