If you mean the type 4 engine, then the 1800cc stock heads are better. They have larger valves than the 2 liter heads.
I built my 2 liter T4 with 1.8 heads.

Would think you'd want the 2.0L crank and rods too - for the longer stroke.
Do the 1800 (S) and 2000 (G) heads have the same combustion chamber volume? (55cc)
I notice the combustion chamber shape is different, and the piston dish have different volumes.
